This is a premium yuzu ponzu meticulously crafted with a strong yuzu flavor, made with dashi carefully extracted from Tosa Shimizu's soda bonito and Rishiri kelp.
It was created to meet the expectations of the Umaji villagers, who have a discerning palate for yuzu. It contains twice the amount of yuzu juice compared to the familiar "Yuzu no Mura Ponzu Soy Sauce."
Not only villagers, but yuzu lovers will find its taste irresistible.
As the yuzu flavor doesn't easily diminish, it's especially recommended for hot pot dishes. It also pairs well with fried eggplant and grilled fish.

The "ponzu soy sauce" made with such yuzu is a versatile seasoning that balances the "aroma," "sourness," and "bitterness" of yuzu with the "umami" of soy sauce and dashi, by adding yuzu juice and bonito and kelp dashi to soy sauce, using a unique and carefully selected method by Umaji Village Agricultural Cooperative.
